With the world now introduced to the concept of One Punch Man World, Crunchyroll's next priority was setting up an online hub for fans to learn more about the game. The site's main function would be to allow users to pre-register for the game ahead of its launch. The client also requested functionality that would allow them to update the site themselves, without the input of developers.
An early version of the site was built by Crunchyroll's Japanese partner APJapan, but it did not achieve the level of usability required by the client. Project N then took over the project building the site on a new CMS that could offer increased functionality.
The build was split into two sprints. The initial sprint pulled together the basics for the site – an area to pre-register, the CMS functionality, and basic game info like character bios. The second sprint was more complex, including a prompt to register for a closed beta test, and a hidden page for beta game files to be hosted.
